Woollahra Sailing Club are proudly affiliated with Australian Sailing (AS). The Club works closely with AS to run Regattas, Sailing School, Coaching, Staff training and more. The club is an accredited Discover Sailing Centre, delivering World Sailing endorsed programs delivered by Australian Sailing qualified instructors.

Who is Australian Sailing?
Australian Sailing is the governing body for the sport of Sailing in Australia. They are responsible for the administration, promotion and development of sailing. They are a member-based organisation that represent the interests and provides services & support to over 360 clubs across Australia as well as more than 160 accredited Discover Sailing Centres. Australian Sailing, as the governing body for the sport, have developed policies to assist Clubs and Members. For more informantion - AS Policy Documents

National Integrity Framework
Australian Sailing officially adopted the National Integrity Framework policies on 31 March 2022. The National Integrity Framework (NIF) provides a streamlined approach to mitigating threats to integrity in sailing and is designed to ease the administrative burden on affiliated clubs and class associations and Discover Sailing Centres. Each of the NIF policies is binding on every "relevant person" (including participants, members, instructors and officials) and all "relevant organisations" (including clubs, class associations, Discover Sailing Centres and Sea Safety Survival Centres).

Personal Accident Insurance

Australian Sailing provide a personal accident policy that covers -

• All current financial members of Australian Sailing Affiliated Clubs (including Sail Pass participants), as well as accredited instructors, officials and coaches.
• Voluntary Workers, Directors and Committee members of affiliated clubs
